Holidays!

Hi. since today i'm on summer holidays! I'm so happy because the semester is finished and i love the summer :).

For this summer i have many plans. First i need to save money to travel in February and i want to sing in micro buses. I am going to do it in December because in January and February i will be away from Santiago..

Every year in January i go to scout camp for 18 or 20 days. This year we want to go the south but we don't know if we are going to Selva de Valdivia or Cochamo, as the last year. The decision depends on scout childrens, they are 18 years old and i think that they are old enough to decide. Therefore we will go to differents places in the same travel. I think that this is a good "job", I enjoy to be with them. 

For February i plan to travel in bike to the Carretera Austral with Victor. In this week we buy different things for the travel like lockable, two lights and other things that we are going to need. In two weeks we want to go to Valparaiso in bike to prepare better for the trip. I have never go went Carretera Austral and the people told me that it is very beautiful. I don't hope going far necessarily, I only hope enjoy and see beautiful landscapes.

The english class

Hello! Today I’m going to talk about this semester’s english class

I think that this is the English class where I have learned the most. I think that it is because there are very few students and we can talk much more during the class and there is more time to ask any questions. In other classes there were so many people that it was very boring for those who didn´t knew much, like me. I think that if the classes could be much smaller the people there could take much more advantage of the time and everyone could learn more !

Using the blog for me was very hard because I have a lot of trouble putting the sentences together and using proper grammar, but I think that is a very good way of learning how to write and sometimes it can even be fun to read my other classmate’s blogs. It makes the class more dynamic and less repetitive.

Outside of English class, the truth is that I don´t use english a lot, sometimes we have to read articles in english for university and things like that. But the language used there is different, is much more technical than the one we learned in this class. I think that the English classes should focus more in that kind of things so we could use it more in our other classes.

There is a lot to improve about my English skills, I still struggle about verbal tenses and I have a very small vocabulary, but I think that in order to improve that I just need practice, for this it really helps to watch movies, listen songs, read things in English, etc.

I have had a really good time in English this year and I think that I have a lot more learning to do and I hope to it.

Bad and good things

Hello! Today I will write about different thinks, bad and good, that have happened in my life.

Something that makes me very, very happy is to be aunt. My niece Laura was born two years ago. I love her, she is sweet and I have a great time playing with her and watching her grow. Two months ago was born Peter. He is her brother and made me very happy too. 

Another thing that makes me happy is to be scout. I enjoy the time with the boys and I think they are learning a lot. And, at the same time, I’m working with my friends, which makes it all very nice.
Among the things that have not gone so good, might I change my studies in 2011. But I think in the end all I'm happy with the way things went, the people I met in my previous career and in the current. I am very happy with my friends and my boyfriend, and I would not be the same if I had never changed.

About my "achievements" in 2014, especially this semester at the university, I think I did very good in the classes that I liked more! I've also come a long bike and that makes me happy because I will used to my summer plans. I want to go in February at the Southern Road bike with my boyfriend and for that you have to practice a lot because it must be a very difficult road. 

I think between the slopes for making me would raise money for summer travel and sleep long hours every days.

How green am I

Hi! Today i'm going to talk about "how green am I". I think that i don't know too much of this topic but i think that it's very important to have some practices that can be good for the environment and because of this I want to know more of it.

In this moment there are so many possibilities for recycle. In many supermarket for example you can leave your trash separated in different containers and after that other people take it to other places where the "trash"  is used again. If you do this thorougly eventually you will produce less waste.

I think that this is wonderful! But the problem is that many placeS "to recycle" don't really do this. In my opinion this is because the recycle is like a trend so this topic is more something like a business. I think that this is a big big big problem because the environment oriented practice needs people to be aware of this.

I do different things that are good for the environment. I prefer use the bike or walking instead of a car or bus but really i do it because i like bicycling. I don't think that this create a big change in enviroment because the underlying problem is another.

I don't participate in any green organization. I do work in a scout group in which we care that kids learn to relate with environment in a noninvasive way, but it's not our only or leading goal.

Scout Camp

Hello! Today I want to talk about a scout camp that I had last summer, it was very funny and I met very very beautiful places!

The camp started the same day I had my last university exam, so I was very tired and I knew that it would be a heavy journey because we were going to walk a lot, although I was very excited!

The first destiny was Puerto Montt, where we spend no night. We took a bus to Cochamó, it let us half the way where we had to start walking... but out walk was delayed, because a girl forgot her backpack on the bus and we had to wait it to pass again :(. When we had the backpack back we started to walk to a beautiful place to camp, in which we were hosted by a very lovely man who we named "Señor hermoso".

The next day was harder, a 5 hours walk by a very difficult path in which we got lost many times. At the end of that road was "La Junta", a very beautiful place where there are many hills and natural stone slides. We spend three days there, we bathed in the river, walked a lot and enjoyed the place.

The last place we visited before returning to Puerto Montt was "Lago Azul", a very intense blue lake (more than another lakes) and very vcold too. We ocuppied those days there to rest because the days before were very hard.

After that we went to Chillán and get together with the rest of the scout people.

It was a very etertaining and important camp for me!

The job that i want to have

Hi! Today i going to talk about the future, specifically about the job that i want to have. This topic it's really difficult because of two things: For i think that it's a long time yet (two or three years) and because the psychology have many areas and i don't know which I prefer.

I think that i would like a job linked with the education. I believe that this is very important and there is much left to do. I imagine working with teachers and with students too. In general the psychologists work only with the students doing the same that in the clinical psychology, but i think that are different thinks and that in the educational psycology you can do other things, for example try to search differents teaching methods. Also i like to teach classes at the university because i think that is really entertaining teach.  

I would like to work in a "open space". I would not work only in a office, i think that this is very very borring and i need to be doing something.

I should not like travel so much in the job, I would prefer to have more time to travel with my family or friends. I think that i would like don't have to work so much for to do other things but it's hard to find something like that.

I think that the job in university or school is very good, among other thinks, because you have more holidays that in other jobs and you can to work whit more people.

My best holidays

The best holidays of my life were two years ago, when I went to the south of Argentina with my school girl friends. We go over many places, like Panguipulli and Puerto Fuy in Chile and the route of seven lakes (ruta de los siete lagos) in Argentina. It was a very beautiful travel for me, because I had time to share with my friends for two weeks and also to see beautiful landscapes. I love south in general, especially lakes where I swam a lot!

One of the things I liked doing (although it was tiring) was a day when we walked 14km to reach "Lago Hermoso". Everyone told us not to walk because it was many hours, but we ran out of money so we couldn't take a bus and walked anyway. It took a time but we had a great time. It was cloudy and cold, but it was the only day we stayed there, and it was so difficult to get there,so we bathe in the lake :)

Another story of this holidays is that Josefina's camera fell to a lake from a barge, it has the photos of the travel. We were so sad because we wanted to remind the moments forever, so we tried to ask for help to a guy who was going to take de barge to where we were. Next morning we woke and went to see if he was coming. We all were surprised because he was coming and he recovered the camera!!! It didn't work, but we could recover the photos :)

The place is very beautiful, I recommend it to who could visit it!
